Barcelona

I had been wanting to go to Barcelona ever since I read The Shadow of the Wind in 2008. Liked it even more than I thought I would! Will certainly go back at one point in the future, possibly to get more into photography and fall in love with an artist that turns out has a crazy partner that is also a successful artist that will try to kill one of us with a revolver in their studio, or something.

Chav horror central. If you like to see overweight women in sweatpants shouting and swearing at their boyfriends while smoking and pushing a stroller, this is the place to be. Oh, and rollercoasters.

Museums in London

Visited the Science Museum, British Museum, and Natural History Museum (which I've wanted to see for years!) in London.

Yes, Carly and I were in London while the riots were still going strong. No, we didn't see anybody bricking shops/police officers, looting any sick Adidas gear, or get arrested. We did see heaps of police however, and you could hear sirens or see police cars and ambulances whizzing past pretty constantly throughout our few days in London. Beautiful, busy, busy city.
